He gave the best hugs, was the best brother to his rescue sisters, and though he could be “a lot” with his screams of joy as guests arrived, he was always everyone’s favorite by the time they would leave, with our friends and family always asking about him, often before they even asked about us!

On April 20, 2024, our beloved Dobby died tragically in the care of another. Now we must find a way to carry on in this life without the physical presence of “our boy.” As a way to do this, we have chosen to turn our grief into a force for good by setting up the Dobby Fund, thanks to the assistance of ABTRR. The Dobby Fund will go toward saving the lives of foster dogs who have been involved in tragic accidents themselves by helping to pay for their medical needs as they recover and look to find their forever home, just as Dobby found in us.

By contributing to this fund, countless dogs will be saved because Dobby existed in the world. And because those dogs are saved, countless people will find their doggie soulmates, just as we did with him. We find comfort in the faith that others will find their forever dog, because he was ours.
